Have you already started to plan how you’ll be celebrating and what you’ll be sipping on this Cinco de Mayo? You don’t have to look any further than the most awarded tequila in history, Cierto Tequila, for all your celebration needs!

While many folks celebrate Cinco de Mayo with sugary drinks and kitschy decor, Cierto Tequila is a brand that honors and celebrates Mexico’s history, the art of true tequila-making, the country’s agricultural bounty and one of its most amazing natural resources: the agave plant.
Cierto Tequila is 100% additive-free tequila, which means it is not made with any artificial ingredients or additives, so you know exactly what you’re sipping on. Less than 3% of nearly 3,000 active tequila brands are Confirmed Additive-Free according to Tequila Matchmaker, which helps Cierto Tequila to stand out amongst the competition. “Cierto” is Spanish for “true,” which perfectly describes this authentic, all-natural tequila – made from fully mature, estate-grown agave from the Highlands of Jalisco, which is harvested and distilled by esteemed fourth and fifth generation agaveros (agave farmers), Enrique Fonseca and Sergio Mendoza.
Cierto Tequila Private Collection Blanco is best served neat or on the rocks, which is where the notes of the natural cooked agave, fresh florals and citrus emerge – the taste of “true” tequila. Cierto Blanco pairs well with young cheese, grilled shrimp and oysters, or sipped alongside a traditional Jaliscan Sangrita. If you prefer your tequila in a cocktail, try your hand at making the Cierto Margarita. This Margarita recipe highlights the unique qualities of the Cierto Tequila Private Collection Blanco, while also incorporating classic margarita ingredients that don’t dilute the flavor of the tequila.
