With National Let’s Laugh Day on the horizon (March 19th) the nation’s purveyor of puns and gurus of giggles — famous candy brand Laffy Taffy, known for its beloved taffy and hokes on the wrapper — is preparing for the day in which laughter takes center stage.
Consider this: 96% of Americans enjoy making other people laugh and 79% of people like their own laugh. I can certainly relate to these statistics because I’m a big believer in the benefits of humor and love to laugh…alone or with others!
That’s according to a new survey released by Laffy Taffy — the beloved candy brand that provides little bites of joy with a joke on every wrapper. Laffy Taffy surveyed 1500 people across the U.S. to find out which states in America are known for residents that laugh the most and who makes others laugh the most. Additionally, the survey results reveal what types of laughs are the most common.
