I received a costume for review from Anytime Costumes and the theme was the the 1920's!

I chose the Boop Boop A Doo flapper style Costume for my daughter, Amanda and it turned out to be a super cute costume! This two piece outfit included a black dress with silver trimming and the headband with a feather and rose pin. Accessories were not included, but would be easy to find at any costume, or dollar store.

Unfortunately, I was unable to get a good picture of my daughter in the costume and it certainly did not fit me! She looked really awesome wearing this and is not inspired to wear it for Halloween this year.

It can be a lot more convenient to fix your car yourself. You will not have to get it to a garage for one thing and you may also be able to get it fixed more quickly. Bakeware isn't just for baking...I use mine all the time for a wide variety of recipes. I was thrilled to be able to review the Classic Bakeware from Chantal.

I received the Classic Oval Baker and the Large Rectangular Baker. The first thing I noticed was the awesome color...Red! It's a very vibrant shade of red and a great addition to my kitchen. Each baker is also available in Indigo Blue and White for those with a different taste in color.

Chantal's Classic Bakeware collection is made of the highest quality stoneware to ensure excellent heat distribution and even baking. Traditional designs, ergonomic handles and extra deep sides deliver functional baking and serveware that will never to out of style. Each piece has a non-porous glaze that won't react with foods, and each piece has a smooth, no-scratch surface.

All pieces are dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe and clean with ease! I made enchiladas in my rectangular dish, with tons of cheese, but when it came time to clean the dish, it was no trouble at all. Even baked on cheese washed off with no scraping or soaking overnight.

Angelina Jolie ~ Breast Cancer Prevention

Most of us know who of Angelina Jolie...awesome Oscar-winning actress, partner to Brad Pitt, and a gorgeous and generous woman. What most of us probably didn't know until a few days ago, is that she also carried a faulty gene that would potentially cause breast cancer.

Angelina Jolie's mother died of breast cancer at the age of 56, so the actress was tested for the faulty BRCA-1 gene and it was discovered that she had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer. She decided that she wasn't going to risk the disease for her own health and for her children. Jolie writes, "We often speak of "Mommy's mommy," and I find myself trying to explain the illness that took her away from us. They have asked if the same could happen to me."

Some are saying that her actions were not just preventative, but sending the wrong message to women all over the world. I for one, commend her for taking such strong preventative actions. In my opinion, it would take an extremely brave woman to undergo a double mastectomy voluntarily. Breast cancer is an ugly disease that claims the life of many women every year, so if there is a solution to prevent this illness before it can cause sickness and pain, and you have the means to do so, I say...Prevention is the best medicine! Until there is a cure for breast cancer, what other solutions does one have?
