Celebrate Day of the Dead with spirits...the cocktail kind!
Day of the Dead, otherwise known as Dia de los Muertos, is a true celebration of life. This special holiday is celebrated throughout Mexico but is also recognized in other countries as well and is designated to honor those who have passed on. Those who celebrate invest a lot of time and effort into this joyous and festive holiday as it's one of the most important days of the year.
This year, we are celebrating with Sauza Tequila and a tasty cocktail that is sure to bring forth the Day of the Dead vibes in everyone. So get your sugar skulls, marigolds, and other offerings ready so that this is a memorable day for your friends and family too!
Red, Red Rita
- 1 part Sauza Signature Blue Silver Tequila
- 1 part blood orange juice
- 1/2 part lime juice
- 1/2 part simple syrup
- Blood orange wedge for garnish
Preparation: Add ingredients to an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain over ice into a sugar-rimmed margarita glass. Garnish with blood orange wedge and serve. Enjoy!
