Gridiron Cocktails to Kickoff the Super Bowl

Are you busy making preparations for the big game this weekend? Whether you're a die-hard football fan or just watching to see the awesome commercials, there's no better way to gear up for the game of the year than with a few Gridiron Cocktails from Hornitos.

It's all in good fun! It's easy to make a day of the occasion with coordinating team decorations, tasty food and of course, themed cocktails. As devoted fans of the Denver Broncos or the Carolina Panthers, this is a big day for fans across the country. Red Zone
  • 2 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
  • 2 parts Coconut Water
  • 1 part Lime Juice
  • 1/2 part Agave Nectar
  • 3 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Lime Peel
Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain over fresh ice and garnish with a lime peel.

Jalapeno Endzone
  • 1 1/2 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
  • 4 parts Mexican Lager
  • 1/4 part Lime Juice
  • 1/3 part Simple Syrup
  • 1 Slice Jalapeno
  • Salt for Rim
Preparation: Muddle jalapeno in a glass with a salted rim and combine the remainder of ingredients except the Mexican Lager in a shaker. Shake vigorously and strain over fresh ice. Add Mexican Lager and enjoy!
