Feeling Bah Humbug? Ring in a New Year of Fun with #Sauza!‏ #NewYearsEve

Let the countdown begin! With 2016 almost upon us, it's that time of the year when everyone resolves to make the New Year better than the last. And what can be better than having a great time with friends and family? This year, resolve to make time for fun, friends and Sauza Tequila! Whether you create a weekly "Margarita Monday" or grab happy hour cocktails on a Thirsty Thursday, it's so important to spend time with the people you care about the most.

Speaking of New Year's resolutions, let's take a look at some resolution statistics. The top ten resolutions for 2015 were to lose weight, get organized, spend less, enjoy life, stay fit and healthy, learn something new, quit smoking, help others, fall in love and spend more time with family. Forty-five percent of Americans usually make New Year's resolutions, with only eight percent actually achieving their goal for the year.
New Year's resolutions aren't new as some may think. In the Medieval Era, the knights took the peacock vow at the end of the Christmas season each year to reaffirm their commitment to chivalry. The Babylonians are also historic resolution makers, as they promised their gods at the start of each year that they would return borrowed things and pay their debts owed. Over all, the custom has to do with self-improvement, which is an awesome goal for anyone!

So, this New Year's Eve, get a jump-start on the fun and ring in 2016 with a delicious and bubbly cocktail in hand. Sauza Tequila's fresh start take on classic champagne, Sauza Tequila Sparkler, is the perfect cocktail for any soiree. Happy New Year!
