2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport AWD Test Drive & Review #DriveHyundai

Last month I had the awesome opportunity to test drive a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport for a week. Was I impressed? Heck yeah!

This vehicle's exterior design is sleek, sophisticated and was a mid-size crossover that I was proud to have in my driveway for a week. The Santa Fe seats five comfortably which was the perfect size for my family ~ not too big, nor too small. Although a smaller version of the 7 passenger Hyundai Santa Fe, this model was just as luxurious and loaded as I would expect from a larger, more expensive vehicle. There was absolutely nothing but quality inside and outside of this vehicle. Comfort? Oh my...the comfort level fully exceeded my expectations, especially as the driver. Everything from the leather seats to the push button start made driving the Santa Fe enjoyable.

Features include:
  • Leather seating
  • Blue-Link Telematics
  • Electroluminescent gauges
  • Power front seats/Memory seats
  • Push button start
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Heated/Ventilated front seats
  • Keyless entry
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Touchscreen navigation system
  • Rear parking sensors
  • Power driver seat with Lumbar Support
  • Dual Zone Automatic Temperature w/Clean Air Ionizer
  • HD Radio/Sirius XM Radio
  • Hands-free liftgate

Needless to say, this car was LOADED! My kids and I really enjoyed riding around in it for the week and the only complaint I have is that I didn't have a trip planned for this test vehicle. If we had planned a road trip or vacation, there would have been plenty of room for us and our luggage, as the rear section was so roomy and the back seat had more than enough space for my two boys and all of their stuff. The Santa Fe was also pretty decent fuel-wise with about 21 mpg (18 in the city and 24 on the highway.)

The 2016 Santa Fe Sport is by far a great family car that provides comfort, style, and dependability. Thanks, Hyundai USA and Drive Shop for the opportunity to drive this car...We loved it!
