I'm hopping on a plane to LAX for a Disney Press Event! #Tomorrowlandbloggers #AladdinBloggers #Disneyland60

I'm super excited to tell everyone that I was invited to Los Angeles for a Disney Press Event! Yap! This trip is to celebrate Disneyland's 60th Anniversary in addition to the release of Tomorrowland (in stores October 13th!) and Aladdin (out of the vault soon!) This Disney Press event is for Disney Dreamers and anyone who has a passion for all things Disney...so join me September 20th through September 22nd on this magic carpet ride!

I'll be on this trip with an amazing group of bloggers and we will begin our trip the Disneyland Resort where we will have the opportunity to interview a few of the talented people behind the movie Tomorrowland. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have the chance to meet or even be in the same room with such brilliant minds but dreams do come true! Our exciting line-up includes:
  • Tomorrowland Director - Brad Bird
  • Tomorrowland Cast Members - Thomas Robinson (Young Frank) and Raffey Cassidy (Athena)
  • Disney Dreamer - Charita Carter (Producer at Disney Imagineering)
  • Disney Dreamer and Entrepreneur - Mike Goslin (VP of Production and Content at Disney Consumer Products)

Afterwards we will have the opportunity for some once in a lifetime photo opportunities then it's off to a special lunch in honor of Disneyland's 60th Anniversary, hosted by an award winning Disney Chef. Wow! For the rest of the day, we will be guests of Disneyland. This is one of the highlights of the trip for me (honestly, part of the trip is a highlight for me!) since I've never visited Disneyland. I've been to Disneyworld several times over the years but this will be my first visit to California. I can't wait to act like a kid and enjoy the day filled with rides, food and fun. We'll end our day watching the spectacular fireworks show that is sure to be a one-of-a-kind show.

Tuesday's activities include meeting Aladdin Genie Animator, Eric Goldberg at Disney Studios lot. I can't even imagine having the creativity and imagination that it took to create this character and to make the Genie come to life in Aladdin: The Diamond Edition, so listening to Mr. Goldberg talk about that experience will be a treat for me! Aladdin will be available on Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA) on September 29th and Blu-ray on October 13th)

Next up is a Disney Movies Anywhere presentation with Eddie Drake who is the Vice President of Development. If you aren't familiar with Disney Movies Anywhere be sure to check it out. My kids and I are hooked!

I hope you follow me on my Disney journey and are as excited as I am about this event and the release of these awesome movies on Blu-ray Combo Pack, Digital HD, and Disney Movies Anywhere. I'll be tweeting, posting on Instagram and Facebook so stay tuned for all of this and hopefully a few surprises!
