You don’t have to be Irish to celebrate on St. Patrick’s Day! #Hornitos #StPattysDay #Recipes

There's one time every year that we all get to be Irish...at least for the day...St. Patrick's Day


Get into the St. Patty's Day spirit with the cocktail recipes below...all are perfect for raising your glass and bringing out the Irish in you and your friends. Pay tribute this year with Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila, a super smooth, triple aged, 100% Agave Tequila, uniquely aged to embark distinct and complex whiskey notes. This tequila is a unique blend that appeals to both whisky and tequila lovers ~ perfect for anyone looking to channel the luck of the Irish this March 17th!


Raise your glass with Slainte de la Noche, a cocktail inspired by Ireland's beloved spirit ~ whiskey ~ using Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila, and break out your shamrocks to celebrate with The Mexichaun and Hornitos Green Mexican. Awesome!

Slainte de la Noche
  • 1 1/2 parts Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila
  • 1 1/2 parts coffee liqueur
  • 1/4 part vanilla syrup
  • 1 part heavy cream
*To make vanilla syrup, mix together 1 part sugar, 1 part water and 1 part vanilla extract. Bring to a boil and cool before serving (approximately 1-2 minutes)

Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a glass and serve.


The Mexichaun
  • 2 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
  • 2/3 parts green chartreuse
  • 1 part fresh lime juice
Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Strain over ice.

Hornitos Green Mexican
  • 1 part Hornitos Plata Tequila
  • 1 part Midori
  • 4 parts sweet and sour mix
Preparation: Fill a Collins glass with ice. Add Hornitos Plata Tequila and Midori, fill rest of glass with sour mix and garnish with an orange slice. Cheers!
