#Easter Stories #Book Review & #Giveaway!

Easter will be here before you know it and the stores are already stocked with tons of promotional items, but is that what Easter is really all about?

Everyone who believes Easter is about more than Easter egg hunts will be grateful for this new anthology of short stories that illumine the true meaning of the Easter season. Selected for their spiritual value and literary quality, these classic tales capture the spirit of Holy Week and Easter in a way that will captivate readers of all ages. Parents and Grandparents will find that children love to hear these stories read aloud, year after year.

It's no surprise that when most children think of Easter they think of chocolate bunnies and baskets filled with all kinds of goodies. Unfortunately,  a lot of families have allowed the commercialization of this special holiday to supersede the true meaning. This book is an excellent way to incorporate stories of Lent and Easter into our children's lives and stories that can be passed down from generation to generation.

I've been reading the stories to my young sons and letting them know that although I can appreciate the fact that they look forward to the "fun" Easter activities, there is so much more to this holiday and they should remember why we are celebrating.

    1. Awwwww...I've always wanted twins! I'm not sure what I'll do. My two sons will be with their father so I'm hoping to spend the weekend with my siblings and Mom.
