The Hardest Peace ~ Book Review #thehardestpeace

If you love to read or even if you are not an avid reader, but enjoy a touching story, then I recommend this book. This is one that will not only touch your heart but give insight to the life of a women who despite of her situation still has hope and faith.

About the Book:
A young mother battling cancer invites you into her life to follow her experience and to embrace grace in every season of life.

Kara Tippetts knows the mundane but rich days of mothering four kids, the joy of watching her children grow and the devastating reality of stage four cancer. In The Hardest Peace, the author invites readers to see the grace of the everyday in all seasons of life and to live well even when living is hard. As the thousands of readers of her blog know, Tippets explores the hardest questions in life with rare beauty and honesty. Most of all, she draws readers back to the God who is present in the ordinary and the suffering, and shapes every life into the best story of all.

This was definitely a difficult book to read for a cancer survivor, I can relate to the mother's emotions and fears. The Hardest Peace is a story that reminds all of us to appreciate our blessings in life and live each day to the fullest. Although not a book with a typical "happy" story, it is very inspirational and gives readers the feeling of hope, peace and appreciation.
