Are you ready to make a SPLASH at your next event? #tradeshows

Are you a small business owner or direct sales representative? I happen to be an Independent Presenter for Younique and consider this my own small business. Younique has provided me with a bit of independence and the ability to promote and sell products that I truly believe in and LOVE!

One of my goals for my Younique business is to attend events or trade shows that allow me to expand my business, generate new customers and basically spread the word about my awesome products and the opportunity to join this growing team of entrepreneurs.

I've done a lot of research and given much thought to how I can make my first event successful. One of the most important things to consider for such an event is the presentation not only of the products being sold, but presentation of the company and opportunity so that they attract the attention of the crowd. Overall, if you're investing in a particular event or show, then take time to invest your creativity to ensure that you get the most from your investment. On my last trade show trip, I saw the most amazing 20' trade show was amazing and is definitely something I want for my next event.
  • Make your booth attractive! Be sure to have visual displays that draw the attention of the crowd. Creativity counts, especially when competing with numerous other companies who are all trying to draw the attendees to their booth.
  • Have business cards, catalogs or hand-outs readily available. Potential customers need to see your current specials and any other information that will persuade them that you are the best! All hand-outs should be organized, clear and consise. Be careful not to overload with needless information.
  • Have product or samples on hand! In my line of business, having the product on hand is a huge plus. If I have a couple of 3D Mascaras with me I always sell them!
Whether you are small time or a larger company, public relations is the key to any success, so be sure that you are presenting yourself in the best light so that they keep coming back for more!
