Do it for your BACK ~ QiPIllow!

I hate to admit it, but as I've gotten older my body has changed and not in a good way! In addition to other things, my back doesn't always feel great, especially while I'm sitting at my desk or table working on my computer for extended time periods.

The QiPillow
I recently received the QiPillow for review, and was not only excited to be able to review this product, but also very grateful and so is my back! The QiPillow is much different form other pillows because it gives you the ultimate support. It is an orthopedic back support that looks like a dress pillow. It will provide relief for people that do or do not currently experience back pain. It has been proven to help 91% of back pain sufferers with relief from back stiffness, pain, fatigue, and it also helps improve their posture and comfort. The QiPillow works kind of like a Sleep Number bed with an air controlled orthopedic core to be able to individualize the comfort needed for each user. A pro of the QiPillow is that it will not collapse under your body weight when it is placed behind you.

According to the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, 30% of American adults have some back pain annually. In short, this means that 1 in 3 people experience back pain. People will spend up to $200 billion dollars a year in order to try to find some relief. Also, according the the Workers Safety and Insurance Board, if you are sitting without the proper needed support, this is the leading cause of back pain. Not using proper support only falls behind heavy lifting for the reason that people would experience back pain. Sitting without support will damage your back each time you sit whether it is at work, in the car, or even at home. The QiPillow corrects that because it provides the correct support that you need for your back.

Whether you believe it or not, our bodies are meant to be in motion and when they aren’t the back muscles will stiffen and this is what causes the pain and fatigue that most feel. To make sure that this does not happen, keep motion on your back while you are sitting. Most chairs do not provide this motion that is needed in order to keep the back from getting stiff. The Qi Orthopedic Pillow is scientifically designed to provide this right type of support that your back really needs.

With ordinary pillows that you may use behind your back, you may not know that your body has started to slouch from not getting the right support, but it is. This can lead to unnecessary pressure and tension to your lower back which can lead to back pain. The QiPillow will never allow that to happen because it will support the body’s weight the entire time it is in use no matter what the weight may be.

The QiPillow size is 18” by 18” which is a pretty great size to have behind you for support. You can also choose the color of camel or sage, and the pillow is made out of a very comfortable micro-suede. When you first use the pillow they recommend that you only use 2-3 puffs of air in order to inflate it. You can experiment from there, but the great tip is that: LESS is MORE! I personally LOVE my QiPillow and use it daily whether I'm working on the computer or merely watching TV. It' makes a huge difference in how my back feels.
