Empower yourself to get FIT ~ Medicine Ball Workout! #Giveaway

This is my year to get into shape and shed some unwanted pounds, and unlike other years of making resolutions and setting unrealistic goals for myself, this year I have determination and motivation inside of me!

I received the 6lb Fingertip Grip Medicine Ball for review from Empower Fitness a few weeks ago. Although I had never used anything like this product before, I was excited because it not only looked like fun but like something that would really make an impact on my quest for fitness. There are tons of workouts online that can be done with the Medicine Ball, but my favorite is the DVD that was included.

Empower's Medicine Balls are easy to use and are available in different weights (4 lb, 6 lb, 8 lb and 10 lb) and is a unique strength training tool offering a soft, comfortable alternative to conventional dumb-bells. Exercising with the medicine ball improves strength, function, movement, balance, coordination and flexibility. It's super easy to hold on to, swing and toss. This fingertip medicine ball is an excellent way to tone and tighten muscles.

Medicine Ball Features:

  • Soft, dimpled, fingertip grip, gel-filled with latex free vinyl shell
  • Targets abs with every move, improves core strength, functional movement, overall muscle tone, and flexibility with a total body workout.
  • Fun and easy to use ~ tone and tighten muscles as you lift, throw, catch and swing the ball.
  • Versatile, compact and portable.
  • Includes one Fingertip Medicine Ball, 30 minute workout DVD for all fitness levels, and illustrated boot camp style workout guide.
The Empower Medicine Ball Boot Camp DVD features a workout guide for those like me who are beginners and for those with more experience working out. The bootcamp workout can be modified to meet the level of any user.

This system is designed for you to be able to use different weights to target trouble-zones and burn calories.  How is that for a twist on proven workout method? I personally love this type of workout and feel great afterwards. I'm still not a fitness "guru" but with time and dedication, I know that I can achieve my goals and look and feel better about myself.
